French Desk
In response to the challenges of the current market – resumption of French investment in Portugal, a growing demand of access to the benefits of the recent non-usual resident status and the rising number of French citizens choosing Portugal for a living – Morais Leitão created the French Desk to provide to Francophone customers a sharp and custom-made advice tailored to their needs and expectations.
The French Desk is an internal multidisciplinary team at Morais Leitão, coordinated by Ana Monjardino composed of lawyers which are bilingual or have a sound grasp of the French language and culture and with recognized expertise in a wide range of industry sectors, dedicated to ensuring, on a full service logic, tailor made services to Francophone clients, both in Portugal and in Portuguese-speaking countries (through Morais Leitão Legal Circle network).
The French Desk also makes available to its customers a network of contacts with strategic entities such as agencies for investment and chambers of commerce.

German Desk
The German Desk is an in-house team at Morais Leitão focused on clients from German-speaking countries, drawing on our extensive experience in multi-jurisdictional legal counsel. This team liaises with the various Morais Leitão Legal Circle teams to provide comprehensive legal support in the network's jurisdictions.
The Portuguese market has attracted particular interest from these countries, due to its growing complexity and internationalisation. The German Desk provides services to investors, companies, institutions and other law firms. German-speaking clients can use the German Desk to operate in multiple jurisdictions with a very significant reduction of legislative diversity barriers. It provides clients with a single, dedicated point of contact who coordinates and articulates their needs with the specialised resources, according to the subject matter and jurisdiction.
