According to Transactional Track Record's quarterly M&A Report, throughout 2020, the Brazilian market registered a decrease both in the number of transactions and in their value, compared with the same period of 2019. A quarter on quarter analysis shows the dynamic of the transactional market both for the Corporate sector and for Private Equity and Venture Capital investments. The section allocated to the cross-border segment presents the most attractive sectors for foreign capital, as well as the country of origin of those investments. The league tables in the last pages of the report reflect the activity of the legal and financial advisors, based on transactions announced in 2020 YTD.
