According to Transactional Track Record's October M&A Report, throughout 2019, the Brazilian market has maintained its level of activity, registering an increase in both number of transactions and their value, compared with the same period of 2018. The report also provides a detailed analysis of the transactional market in Private Equity and Venture Capital investments, showing that VC recorded a considerable increase both in deal volume and total value. The section allocated to the cross-border segment presents the most attractive sectors for foreign capital, as well as the country of origin of those investments. The league tables in the last pages of the report reflect the activity of the legal and financial advisors, based on transactions announced in 2019 YTD.
