SPAIN
August is usually a slow month in Spain, although this year the transactional market registered several divestments by Spanish multinational groups, such as Ferrovial and Gamesa. In addition, the high-end transactional market was particularly active. 3i sold Esmalglass for EUR 200m, and Agrolimen sold a 50% stake in Arbora & Ausonia for EUR 814m.

PORTUGAL
Portuguese transactional market, in August, was less dynamic than in previous months. Nevertheless, several privatisation processes kept it lively. Portuguese Government is selling Estaleiros Navais de Viana do Castelo, which is gathering interest from foreign players. Moreover, the privatisation of Pavilhão Atlantico's management company had a successful conclusion.
