In the third quarter of 2015, the Latin American transactional market registered a 31.2% increase in investment volume compared with the same period last year; approximately USD 45.18bn in 2015, compared with approximately USD 34.45bn in 2014. On the other hand, the number of deals recorded was 468, compared with 546 in the same period last year.

Highlights include the acquisition made by Colombia-based Celsia de Producción de Energia for approximately USD 8.13bn. Furthermore, Banco Bradesco acquired HSBC Bank Brasil y HSBC Serviços, for approximately USD 5.22bn.
