El último informe trimestral de M&A de 2018 de Transactional Track Record muestra que tanto los registros de número de operaciones como de capital movilizado durante el año 2018 son superiores a los contabilizados en año 2017. El informe incluye, además, datos actualizados sobre diferentes aspectos y comportamientos del mercado de M&A español, como la consolidación de Estados Unidos como el país extranjero que más inversiones lleva a cabo con España, y de Portugal como el país preferido por las empresas españolas para llevar a cabo inversiones crossborder. Como siempre, se incluyen datos sectoriales, y el comportamiento de los segmentos de Private Equity y Venture Capital, así como los rankings anuales que reflejan la actividad de asesores legales y financieros.

According to Transactional Track Record's 4Q18 M&A Report, the volume of mergers and acquisitions of the Portuguese market totaled EUR 22.6bn in 2018, up 70.1% compared with the same period of 2017. On the pages allocated to the cross-border sphere, the analyses correlating the foreign countries that invest in Portugal and the sub-sectors targeted by these investments reflect that US-based companies retain their increasing interest in Portugal-based companies, marking a 21% increase over the previous year. Meanwhile, in the Venture Capital sector, 2018 closed with the best results of the last four years. The league tables in the last pages of the report reflect the activity of the legal and financial advisors, based on transactions announced in 2018 YTD.
