Según el informe mensual de M&A de Transactional Track Record, tanto el número de operaciones como el capital movilizado durante el primer mes de 2019 son ligeramente inferiores a los datos contabilizados durante el mismo período de 2018, aunque el decremento no parece especialmente preocupante. El informe ofrece, además, datos actualizados sobre los segmentos Private Equity y Venture Capital, sobre la interacción de las empresas españolas con players extranjeros, y sobre la estructura sectorial de las inversiones realizadas, entre otras informaciones. Como siempre, se incluye también información sobre las operaciones más relevantes del mes, así como rankings de la actividad de asesores legales y financieros.

PORTUGAL

According to Transactional Track Record's January 2019 M&A Report, the volume of mergers and acquisitions in the Portuguese market totaled EUR 240m, down 73.5% compared with January 2018. On the pages allocated to the cross-border sphere, the analyses correlating the foreign countries that invest in Portugal and the sub-sectors targeted by these investments reflect that Spain-based companies retain their increasing interest in Portugal-based companies. In the Venture Capital segment, the transactions suffered a drop of 88% in moved capital. The league tables on the last pages of the report reflect the activity of the legal and financial advisors, based on transactions announced in 2019 YTD.
