Según el informe mensual de M&A de Transactional Track Record, el capital movilizado durante los primeros siete meses del año es superior al contabilizado durante el mismo periodo del año 2017, aunque el número de operaciones sigue siendo ligeramente inferior en 2018. El informe ofrece, además, datos actualizados sobre los segmentos Private Equity y Venture Capital, sobre la interacción de las empresas españolas con players extranjeros, y sobre la estructura sectorial de las inversiones realizadas, entre otras informaciones. Como siempre, se incluyen también rankings de la actividad de asesores legales y financieros; y la entrevista TTR, en esta ocasión a Juan Luis Ramírez, Socio Fundador de Portobello Capital, que analiza algunos aspectos fundamentales del mercado de private equity español.

PORTUGAL

According to Transactional Track Record's monthly M&A Report, the Portuguese mergers and acquisitions market in July suffered a reversal in the upward tendency seen in the previous months. On the pages allocated to the cross-border sphere, the analyses correlating the foreign countries that invest in Portugal and the sub-sectors targeted by these investments reflect that the number of those transactions involving technology and Internet companies represents almost 100%, compared with the same period of 2017. Additionally, Spain-based companies are still the ones making the most acquisitions of Portugal-based companies. The league tables in the last pages of the report reflect the activity of the legal and financial advisors, based on transactions announced in 2018 YTD.
