According to Transactional Track Record's Monthly M&A Report, the moved capital in the first three quarters of 2018 is higher to the one registered in the same period of 2017, though the number of transactions is still slightly lower. The report also provides updated data on the Private Equity and Venture Capital segments, with the latter showing more activity in 3Q, as well as information on the cross-border sphere and the structure of investments divided by sector. The last pages include the rankings of legal and financial advisors and the TTR interview: in this occasion, to Pérez-Llorca Partner Pedro Marques da Gama, who analyzes some key aspects of Spain's purchase and sale market for debt assets.

PORTUGAL

De acordo com o Relatório de M&A de agosto do TTR - Transactional Track Record, o mercado de fusões e aquisições português sofreu forte redução na atividade, reforçando tendência de baixa iniciada no mês anterior. Nas páginas dedicadas ao âmbido cross-border, as análises de correlação entre países estrangeiros investindo em Portugal e os subsetores alvo destes investimentos, permite constatar que o número de transações deste tipo segue em alta se comparado com o mesmo período do ano anterior. Além disso as empresas espanholas seguem como as que mais aquisições realizam em Portugal. As league tables, nas últimas páginas do relatório, refletem a atividade dos assessores jurídicos e financeiros, tendo em conta as transações anunciadas em 2018 year to date.
