According to Transactional Track Record's monthly M&A Report, Spain's mergers and acquisitions market closed the first four months of 2019 with 654 transactions and a moved capital of EUR 29.19bn. The report also provides a complete analysis about the most prominent transactions of the cross-border segment, as well as the market's most active sectors, which shows Real Estate is still the sector with the highest number of deals, with186 transactions. Meanwhile, both the Private Equity and Venture Capital segments registered a downturn on this period regarding the number of deals, comparing with the same period the previous year. The league tables in the last pages of the report reflect the activity of the legal and financial advisors, based on transactions announced in 2019 YTD.

PORTUGAL

De acordo com o Relatório do mês de abril do TTR - Transactional Track Record, entre janeiro e abril o mercado português soma 2,9 mil milhões de euros transacionados, um crescimento de 31,2% comparado ao mesmo período de 2018. O mesmo tipo de análise está disponível nas páginas dedicadas ao capital de risco, onde se observa que o cenário segue positivo para os investimentos de Venture Capital. No âmbito cross-border é possivel identificar os segmentos de atividade mais atrativos para capital estrangeiro, bem como os países de origem dos mesmos. As league tables, nas últimas páginas do relatório, refletem a atividade dos assessores jurídicos e financeiros, tendo em conta as transações anunciadas em 2019 year to date.
